CEMRA

FRAGILE

MAD ART GALLERY

Mar 28 - Jun 14, 2025, Poznan (PL)

Through this compelling body of work, Cemra explores themes of trauma, transformation, memory, and identity—both on a personal and collective scale. Rooted in a dialogue between historical and contemporary realities, Fragile examines the ways in which post-traumatic experiences shape our perception of time, space, and belonging. Cemra’s work does not merely reflect on trauma but creates a space where it can be acknowledged, understood, and perhaps even healed. In an era defined by displacement, conflict, and societal upheaval, this exhibition resonates profoundly, offering a visual meditation on the resilience of the human spirit. Like delicate porcelain vessels, people can fracture under the weight of their experiences, yet through the act of healing, they find strength. Fragile presents a series of 13 striking paintings, each one telling a story of endurance. Figures marked by wounds—traces of blood, bandages, bruises, and scars—emerge from the canvas, bearing witness to the continuous process of healing and renewal. These works challenge us to reconsider our relationship with fragility, not as a weakness, but as an integral part of human existence. Through this exhibition, Cemra invites us to confront our own vulnerabilities and, in doing so, discover the resilience that emerges from them. Fragile is not just an artistic statement—it is an invitation to reflect, to converse, and to embrace the complexities of what it means to be human.
